Real AWA Inmate World Heavyweight Title Championship Wrestling Belt Rare WWE

This is a real AWA World Heavyweight Title belt made in the style that was used in the mid to late 70's with a tan strap over black as worn by Nick Bockwinkel. I have included a picture of Bockwinkel wearing this style belt. This is NOT a Figures Inc toy replica belt. It is a very heavy belt with metal plates which weighs 8.4lbs and features thick 4mm relief pieces. It is nicknamed the "Inmate" world title because legend is it was made by inmates at the Colorado State Prison.

This belt is made of brass plates with nickel plating and the main plate is decorated with several different colored stones. Main plate is 12.5 inches tall the overall length of the belt is 52 inches. Plates are a thick 4mm. The belt has some scratches and wear on the main plate.

I think it's from where someone messed up putting in the stones. The strap is made of simulated leather. Like the original it has velcro instead of snaps.
